Peer-Led Activities for Seniors

These are all led, staffed and maintained by unpaid (volunteer) staff. Fairhill provides a home.  Unless otherwise noted, programs are at no charge, but donations are always appreciated and put to good use.

GENEALOGY WORKSHOP

Third Thursday of each month, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Adults 50+ – Who are your ancestors, and what did they do for a living?  Bring your questions and learn about some key sites for online research in this hands-on class. You must know how to access the Internet and have basic typing skills. No charge; donations appreciated. Call 216-421-1350 for more information or to sign up. Preregistration encouraged; walk-ins accepted if space available.

BALLROOM DANCING
Thursdays and Fridays, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Thursdays, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays, 12:30 – 4:00 p.m.

KNITTING CLUB
Crafts group meets to improve skills and for stimulating conversation. Join us mid-September through May, Thursdays 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

ZUMBA
Get aerobic exercise to a Latin beat. Tuesdays, 11:00 a.m.and 6:30 p.m.

PILATES
Tuesdays, 10 a.m.

TAI CHI FOR ARTHRITIS
Wednesdays, 10 a.m.

LINE DANCING AEROBICS
Fridays, 5:30 p.m.
