Caregiver Support Programs

“I envied the opportunity created to have the attention of professionals and ask questions of people whom you might not see on a regular basis,” said a regular Meet the Professionals presenter. “Everyone wins – the professional gets to educate the community in a casual meeting setting, and caregivers get to ask questions they might not be able to ask otherwise.”

Fairhill Partners has programs for both kinship caregivers – older adult relatives, usually grandparents, raising grandchildren – and family caregivers, who provide care and support to adult family members or friends who are frail, chronically ill or have a disability.

Meet the Professionals lets caregivers discuss topics of interest with an expert in a casual, small group setting.  Sessions last two hours and include lunch.  See the Monthly Activity Calendar for current dates and times.

My Time gets caregivers together in an intimate group setting for peer-to-peer support, facilitated by a social services professional.  Each session lasts an hour and can be combined with Meet the Professionals.  See the Monthly Activity Calendar for current dates and times.
